A NOT-SO BRIEF HISTORY
So, you’re probably wondering…who exactly is Harry Kniznik?
You weren’t? Ughhh.
Well anyways….
I grew up outside of Boston in a town called Newton. It’s a super-nice town. Louis CK and Matt LeBlanc both went to my high school, so you know, no pressure to be successful or anything. You know the Fig Newton cookie? Also my town.
After attending the Creative Circus in Atlanta, I got hired by Vitro in San Diego. I worked on big, grownup brands like IHOP and ASICS and ate a startlingly large quantity of fish tacos. Then I got recruited to work in New Zealand, which was surreal and amazing. Did you know Kiwis call hiking “Tramping”? I did a lot of that, and also got to make some really fun work.
I’ve been fortunate to work at highly regarded shops for major brands, and I’ve had the privilege to lead work to the promised land of Cannes, The One Show, D&AD, the Radio Mercury Awards, the Effies and more. I also won the Pinewood Derby as a Cub Scout, which, if we’re being honest, is cooler than all of that.
When not ideating or writing scripts, you’ll find me penning short stories, making crappy art, growing plants, playing music, hiking, or dabbling in sketch comedy, I also have an impressive collection of refrigerator magnets, if you’re impressed by that kind of thing.
If you still want to speak with me after reading through all this, you’re my kind of weird and should email me right now.
Unless you’re too scared.
Look at you, scared wittle kitty kat, won’t send an email.
So sad.
